About Me

I am a Melbourne-based writer and historian. I was born in Brisbane in 1986, and completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Government at Griffith University in 2008.

My books deal with Australian and world history, particularly political, legal and military history, the history of ideas, and the history of democracy, national identity, and political institutions. I work as a lawyer, and am a volunteer in the Victorian State Emergency Service (SES). I am on Substack at https://adammwakeling.substack.com/.
